Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the Paliec Latvijā platform (hereinafter - the Platform). The Platform connects accommodation hosts (hereinafter - Hosts) with potential guests (hereinafter - Guests). By using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

The Platform operator is SIA "KEEME", reģ. Nr. 40203508501, juridiskā adrese: Pētersalas iela 2 – 8, Rīga, LV-1045.

A free account is required to use the booking and favourites features. The user undertakes to provide true and accurate information and to keep their account secure.

The Platform provides publishing of accommodation listings and sending of booking requests. The Platform does not process the Guest's payment for the accommodation. The Guest and the Host agree directly between themselves on the price, deposit and payment arrangements. Prices in listings are shown per night, including applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.

The Host's subscription fee and additional marketing services are paid on the Platform. These payments are processed by Stripe. The Platform does not store payment card data.

Cancellation and refund terms are set individually by each Host and agreed directly between the Guest and the Host. Since the Platform does not process payments for accommodation, the Platform does not issue or guarantee refunds for bookings.

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of the listing content, keeping the calendar up to date, and ensuring the accommodation matches its description. Hosts must comply with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, including tax and hygiene requirements.

Guests undertake to use the accommodation for its intended purpose, comply with the house rules, and compensate the Host for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

The Platform acts as an intermediary between Hosts and Guests and is not a party to the contract between them. The Platform assumes no responsibility for the quality of services provided by Hosts or the conduct of Guests.

All elements of the Platform - the trademark, design, source code and content - are the property of the Platform operator or its partners and are protected by copyright.

Disputes are first resolved through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes are heard in the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

The Platform reserves the right to change these terms. Users will be informed of material changes by email or a notice on the Platform at least 14 days in advance.
